
The Borneo Tuak Festival 2026 returns to Kuching as Malaysia’s largest Tuak festival, bringing together producers, cultural practitioners, artisans and visitors in a vibrant celebration of Borneo’s brewing heritage.

This year’s festival will showcase more than 100 varieties of Tuak from Sarawak, Sabah and Peninsular Malaysia, featuring both traditional and contemporary rice wines under one roof. Visitors can look forward to Tuak competitions, cultural showcases, panel discussions, workshops, live demonstrations, artisan booths, food and beverage experiences, and live performances by local artists.
Festival highlights include Tuak Selection of the Year 2026, Tuak Cocktail Competition, Rice & Tuak panel discussions, educational workshops, heritage performances and an artisan marketplace featuring local crafts and products.
The event also features performances by local artists including Melissa Francis, Acid Rain, Alex Wan, Peter Rining Paris, Flyhigh Band, MND Band and Lin Asit, along with traditional cultural performances by AKA DAMBAI Legacy and ASADIA.
