The Taste of Borneo Cultural Carnival 4.0 婆罗洲文化嘉年华4.0

Date: 1ST – 12TH JULY 2026

Location: BOULEVARD OPEN CAR PARK, Miri Sarawak.

The 12-day carnival celebrates the rich multicultural heritage of Borneo with a variety of activities and performances.

• Cultural Exchange Nights The event will feature “Ethnic Communities’ Cultural Exchange Nights” with performers and cultural groups from China’s Yunnan Province, Indonesia, Brunei, Sabah, and local Sarawak communities.

• Food and Handicrafts Numerous stalls will offer a wide array of multi-cultural foods, creative products, and handicrafts.

• Performances Nightly entertainment will include a public concert with various local artistes, traditional cultural dance competitions for secondary schools, and a secondary school musical band street parade.

• Exhibitions and Records The carnival will also feature cultural exhibitions, with organizers aiming to set world and Malaysian records for the largest collection of traditional baskets produced at a single event.
