LCDA features Bukit Assek Redevelopment, Pasir Panjang projects at Sarawak Mega Fair in Singapore

KUCHING (Oct 17): The Bukit Assek Redevelopment Project in Sibu is one of two flagship projects being showcased by the Land Custody and Development Authority (LCDA) at the Sarawak Mega Fair 2025 Conference and Exhibition in Singapore. The project, covering 330ha in the heart of Sibu, aims to transform the area into a modern, sustainable urban hub integrating commercial, residential, and community spaces within a balanced environment. LCDA is also featuring the Pasir Panjang Development Project here, which spans 157.73ha. The project focuses on tourism-oriented and mixed-use development, reinforcing LCDA’s role in creating vibrant spaces that contribute to Sarawak’s long-term growth.
LCDA said in a statement that both projects reflect its commitment to driving sustainable urban transformation and stimulating economic growth through strategic and innovative development planning. The Sarawak Mega Fair on Oct 16-17 is being held at the Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre. LCDA said its participation serves to promote Sarawak’s development and investment potential to regional and international audiences, in support of the Sarawak government’s Post Covid-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030 to achieve a high-income and advanced economy. Visitors to LCDA’s booth can also experience an interactive digital showcase that offers an immersive presentation of the authority’s vision for land development and its contribution towards Sarawak’s long-term growth and transformation agenda.
