Sarawak Trade and Tourism Office Singapore (STATOS) is pleased to announce that it will be bringing 50 Singaporean business owners to Kuching, Sarawak for a unique business and cultural exchange. The event, which will take place from February 20th to 24th, aims to promote business opportunities in Sarawak and enhance cultural understanding between Singapore and Sarawak.
Sarawak, the largest state in Malaysia, is known for its natural beauty, diverse cultures, and rich history. The five-day event will provide attendees with a chance to explore Kuching businesses, network with other business owners, and learn about the business landscape in Sarawak.
“We are excited to be organizing this event to showcase to the potential business opportunities in Sarawak and build bridges between Singapore and Sarawak,” said Mr. Chew Chang Guan, CEO of STATOS.
The event will begin with a welcome dinner on February 20th, where attendees can network and socialize in a relaxed environment. The following four days will include business meetings and presentations, as well as visits to some of Kuching’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Sarawak Cultural Village and the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre.
“We have designed a program that combines business and cultural activities to provide attendees with a comprehensive experience of Sarawak. We believe that this event will be an excellent platform for business owners to explore the potential for investment and partnerships in Sarawak,” added Mr. Chew.
