Sarawak is proud to showcase its very best at the Sarawak Mega Fair 2025, taking place at the Suntec City Atrium Convention Centre and Tower 1 & 2 from October 16 to 19.

Visitors can look forward to exclusive travel promotions and a vibrant cultural experience featuring live performances, traditional craft demonstrations, and interactive activities. The fair also serves as a platform to strengthen collaboration with tourism partners while inspiring visitors to discover Sarawak’s natural beauty and cultural richness.

The highlight of the fair, the Sarawak Carnival and Gastronomy, will feature over 50 exhibitors—including travel agents, product owners, artisans, and food vendors—offering a comprehensive glimpse into Sarawak’s eco-tourism, cultural traditions, and off-the-beaten-track experiences.

Cultural performances will include traditional sape and nose flute music, indigenous dances, and live artisan demonstrations such as tribal tattooing and songket weaving. Visitors can also participate in the Sarawak Unity Dance, performed to “Bekikis Bulu Betis”—a popular Iban song by Andrewson Ngalai that is deeply loved across Sarawak and frequently played at gatherings and celebrations.

Food enthusiasts will enjoy live cooking sessions and free samplings of signature dishes such as Sarawak laksa, kolo mee, and kek lapis, and Sarawak beverage, Teh C Special.

Adding a fun twist, the Let’s Sarawak Laksa Cuddle brings the state’s iconic dish to life in plushy form! This soft and squishy version of laksa includes cuddly renditions of vermicelli, prawns, chicken strips, and more. Simply approach the “chef,” request a bowl, and enjoy the fluffiest, most huggable Sarawak Laksa ever made. It’s all about food, fun, and fuzzy feelings—celebrating how cuisine connects people through both taste and shared joy.

Other engaging highlights include photo ops with Sarawak warriors and maidens, trivia games, and chances to win exclusive Sarawak-themed souvenirs.
