Layar Cycling Carnival 7th Edition
This year’s Layar Cycling Carnival marks its 7 edition. It was first introduced in 2017. It is a highway cycling race event that present the challenge of hilly routes and is held over 3 days with two main events, namely the Criterium and the Highway Race. This year will also see the return of the Ulu Layar / Ulu Paku route, which has been a dream route for cyclists. The cycling challenge starts in the last 40 kilometers, where riders will begin a tough uphill climb. In this 7 edition, the Betong Division Public Works Department (JKR) has been appointed as the organizing committee for this event.
In addition to the cycling race, there will be several interesting side events throughout the Layar Cycling Carnival, which will be held from 29 August to 31 August 2025.
