Welcome to the Sarawak Ambassador Program! We're thrilled to have you on board as we embark on a remarkable journey to showcase the breathtaking beauty and rich culture of Sarawak to the world. As a Sarawakian residing in Singapore, you play a vital role in unlocking unforgettable experiences and inspiring others, especially your non-Sarawakian friends, to discover the wonders of Sarawak. Your passion and dedication will make Sarawak an irresistible destination!

Terms and Conditions:

Before you proceed with the registration, please take a moment to read and accept the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility:
To apply for this program, you must meet the following requirements:
Sarawakian Identity: You should either:

• Hold a current Malaysian passport with Sarawak as your place of birth, or
• Be born in Sarawak and currently hold a non-Malaysian Passport
• Have obtained Permanent Resident status in Sarawak

Residency: You must be living in Singapore at the time of your application.
Age: You must be at least 21 years old.

2. Commitment:
By registering for this program, you commit to bringing a minimum of two non-Sarawakian friends (excluding Malaysian Passport holder) to travel to Sarawak, with the aim of promoting Sarawak as a tourist destination or MICE destination.

3. Application Period:
The application period for the Sarawak Ambassador Program is from November 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023.

4. Traveling Period:
The travelling period for the program is from December 1st , 2023, to August 31st , 2024.

5. Travel Booking Requirement:
All travelers are required to make a booking through STATOS-appointed travel agencies for this program in Singapore, namely EU Holidays and Singatour Pte Ltd, a minimum stay of 2-night in Sarawak is required and all traveller are required to be on the same trip (eg. same date for land tour or hotel check in date or flight departure date or land arrangement).The first point of departure for this trip must be from Singapore, and all travelers must book at least one of the following components through the STATOS-appointed agencies:

• Air tickets
• Land tours
• Hotel accommodations
• Other land arrangements

By participating in this program, you consent to STATOS-appointed travel agencies, such as EU Holidays and Singatour Pte Ltd, verifying your identity as a Sarawakian for the purpose of determining program eligibility.

6. Benefits of Being a Sarawak Ambassador:
As a Sarawak Ambassador, you will receive the following benefits:
- SGD200 offset (for Sarawak Ambassador only) upon purchasing air tickets or land tour or hotel or other land arrangements through STATOS appointed travel agencies (In a single transaction, any remaining balance are non-refundable).
- Discount vouchers from the sponsors of this program. (while stock last)
- Priority enrolment / invitation to all STATOS's initiated programs or events.

7. Post-Travel Requirement:
Upon completing your travel, Sarawak Ambassadors are required to submit a 200-word report along with a group photo of your guests to STATOS for program evaluation and promotion purposes to info@statos.com.sg. Please note that the report must be submitted to STATOS within 14 days upon completion of travel.

8. Program Duration:
The Sarawak Ambassador Program has a set duration; your participation will be valid during this period. Any changes to the program or its terms will be communicated to you.

9. Termination:
The organizers of the program reserve the right to terminate your participation at any time if you violate these terms and conditions or engage in any behaviour that is detrimental to the program's objectives.

10. Verification:
We may request proof of your Sarawakian citizenship or permanent residency for verification purposes. Any false information provided may result in disqualification from the program. Please note that we may conduct interviews for further clarification if needed during the application process.

11. Approval and Verification:
Approved candidates will be contacted by email or phone call within 14 working days of submission.

STATOS will issue a Sarawak Ambassador appointment letter for you to present to our appointed travel agents for purchasing and verification purposes.
